The journal ‘Economic Views’, published by the Department of Economics, Bijni College, Bijni, has been prioritizing the publication of quality research works by academicians for the development of society. Economic Views began its journey back in 2009 through the dedicated efforts of the then faculty members of the Department, originally under the name ‘Eco-View’. It was published again in 2011, and based on the suggestion of Prof. Madhurjya Prsasad Bezbaruah of Department of Economics, Gauhati University, it was renamed ‘Economic Views’. In 2014, through the active efforts of then HOD Mrs. Nandita Das and Librarian Opurbo Daimary, the journal successfully obtained an ISSN number and published its first edition as an ISSN-registered journal. In 2025, with the active support of the Principal of Bijni College and the Research, Innovation and Publication Cell of IQAC Bijni College, the journal was converted into a peer-reviewed journal in social sciences, publishing on June 2025.
